Stroke Index

The Stroke Index (SI) is a numbering from 1 to 18 on the scorecard that determines on which holes a player receives their handicap strokes. The Committee uses this index to apply handicap strokes on a hole-by-hole basis, in line with Rule 6.2b. For Stableford competitions, this is essential for calculating the points per hole, as stated in Rule 21.1b(2).
