Removing loose impediments and movable obstructions
Rule 15 describes when and how a player may remove loose impediments (such as leaves, twigs, small loose stones) and movable obstructions (such as a rake, a towel, a drinks bottle or a golf bag) without penalty. These objects aren't considered part of the challenge of playing the course.
