Course Handicap
The number of strokes you receive on a specific course, calculated from your Handicap Index, the Slope Rating, and the Course Rating of the tee played. Rule of thumb: Course Handicap = Handicap Index × (Slope / 113) + (Course Rating − Par). In practice, you use a course handicap table or a golf app, which rounds to a whole number. Your course handicap determines on which holes, based on the Stroke Index, you get extra strokes toward your net score (Stableford / stroke play with handicap).
